Ghusl and wuḍū’ wearing artificial nails

Q: What should a person with implanted nails do for his wuḍū’ and ghusl?

A: In case of implanting nails, one should remove the obstacle – even by spending affordable cost – for wuḍū’ and ghusl. If one knows that its removal is impossible or entails unbearable hardship or considerable harmful effect, they should make wuḍū’ and ghusl during the prayer time and then start the implantation and make jabīrah wuḍū’ and ghusl afterwards, i.e. to wipe the obstacle with the wet hand. In case, he neglects removing them while it is possible even several days later, jabīrah wuḍū’ and ghusl are deemed void.
