Doubt (more than 50 percent) regarding no. prostration / rukū‘

Q: In the following issue, do you mean obligatory caution or mustaḥabb one? If one guesses (more than fifty percent) about the number of prostrations or rukū‘, he should – by caution perform prostration/rukū‘ again and say the prayer again as well.

A: If he guesses (more than fifty) that he has performed prostrations or rukū‘ but due to lack of certainty performs them, he should, by obligatory caution, say the prayer again. However, if he guesses (more than fifty) that he has not performed prostrations or rukū‘ and performs them, it is not necessary to say the prayer again.
