Islamic Revolution Leader Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei issued a condolence statement Monday regretting the blast mishap in a Husseyniyeh in Shiraz city central Iran.
The text of the message is as follows.
Bismillah-e Rahman-e Rahim
The sad and regretful incident in Rahpouyan Vesal center which resulted in the martyrdom-like departures of a group of God-lovers and wounding of another larger group made me mournful.
I'd like to commiserate the mourners of the bitter mishap and those affected by quoting God's good tiding for the patient: "Upon those rest blessings and mercy from their Lord" (2: 1577).
I pray God to bestow patience to the bereaved hearts, to bless the demised folks and to expedite remedy for the injured. I also instruct the authorities to fulfill their assignments regarding the incident with resolution and speed.
