Using Other People’s Wi-Fi without Their Permission

question| In the past I have hacked into other people’s Wi-Fi using my smart phone and have made use of their internet connection without their permission. What is my duty now? Unfortunately, I do not know some of the individuals whose internet I hacked into and am therefore unable to compensate them.
answer| You must repent. To those whom you recall and to whom you have access you must pay the equivalent monetary value of the amount of internet usage you consumed or must otherwise satisfy them. As regards those whom you do not recall or to whom you do not have access, you must pay at least the equivalent amount of the internet usage you illegitimately consumed in charity to the poor on their behalf.
