At the grand and magnificent gathering of people in the politico-spiritual Friday prayers in Tehran, Ayatollah Imam Khamenei, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, described the unity and solidarity of Muslims as a source of divine mercy, honour, and victory over their enemies. He said, "According to the principles of Islamic defensive action, the Constitution of the Islamic Republic, and international law, the brilliant action of the Iranian armed forces in punishing the bloodthirsty Zionist regime was entirely legal and legitimate. The Islamic Republic will fulfil any duty it deems necessary in this regard without delay or haste, with power, strength, and determination."
The Leader Meets Scientific Elites, Olympiad Winners, and Top University Entrants
This morning, Ayatollah Khamenei, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, met with hundreds of scientific elites, Olympiad winners, and top university entrance exam performers and emphasised the need to maximise the use of elites in various sectors and create opportunities for them to influence the country's affairs. He said, "Today, elites' most important duty and effort is to create a new and resurgent scientific movement."

Ayatollah Imam Khamenei, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, in a message on the martyrdom of the great warrior and flag-bearer of the resistance, Hujjat al-Islam Sayyid Hassan Nasrallah, offered his felicitations and condolences on the martyrdom of the exceptional leader of Hezbollah to the entire Resistance Front and the Islamic Ummah and announced five days of national mourning in the country. The foundation he established in Lebanon and the direction he gave to other centres of power will not only remain intact with the loss of the dear Master of Resistance, but by the blessing of his blood and that of the other martyrs of this event, it will grow stronger. The blows of the Resistance Front on the worn-out and declining body of the Zionist regime will become more crushing.

This morning, in a meeting with thousands of veterans and activists of the Sacred Defence and Resistance, Ayatollah Khamenei, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, explained the reasons behind the start of the imposed war and pointed to two factors: the new discourse and the attraction of the Islamic Republic in contrast to the corrupt and false global order. He said, "In addition to being a valuable defence of the homeland, the Sacred Defence was also a defence of religion and jihad in the way of Allah, which kept Islam alive, honoured the Iranian nation, and promoted spiritual values in the country."
Leader Meets with Officials, Islamic Ambassadors, and Unity Conference Participants
Celebrating the anniversary of the nativity of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) and Imam Sadiq (as), the Leader of the Islamic Revolution met this morning with a group of government officials, ambassadors of Islamic countries, participants in the Conference on Islamic Unity, and various segments of the public. To commemorate the beginning of Unity Week and the anniversary of the blessed birth of the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh), the Leader of the Islamic Revolution met this morning (16/September/2024) with a group of scholars, Friday prayer leaders, and heads of Sunni seminaries from across the country. He emphasised that it was essential to safeguard the precious identity of the Islamic Ummah, pointing out the importance of Islamic unity in this regard and the efforts of those who wish it evil to undermine it. Islamic Revolution Leader Meets with Turkmenistan's National Leader and Delegation:
In a meeting with Mr. Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, the National Leader of Turkmenistan and his accompanying delegation this Wednesday afternoon, Ayatollah Khamenei, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution cited the high priority of expanding relations between the two countries. He said, "Relations between Iran and Turkmenistan have significantly improved in recent years, but there are still many untapped potentials for further cooperation that should be utilised." He mentioned that expanding relations based on mutual interest benefits both countries and added, "We hope that with the fresh energy of Dr Pezishkiyan’s government, the efforts to strengthen relations between the two countries will continue with greater intensity and strength."

Funeral Prayers Held at the University of Tehran
This morning, on Thursday, 1st August 2024, Ayatollah Khamenei, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, led the funeral prayers over the bodies of Martyr Ismail Haniyeh, the head of the Hamas Political Bureau, and Martyr Wasim Abu Sha'ban, Mr Haniyeh's companion, at the University of Tehran.

Following the martyrdom of the great fighter and Mujahid Mr Ismail Haniyeh, Head of the Hamas Political Bureau, Ayatollah Khamenei, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, conveyed a message of condolence to the Islamic community, the Resistance Front, and the proud people of Palestine on the martyrdom of this brave leader and distinguished fighter. He said, "The criminal and terrorist Zionist regime has paved the way for a severe punishment upon itself with this action, and we consider it our duty to seek revenge for him having been martyred within the borders of the Islamic Republic of Iran."
Ansarullah Yemen Spokesperson meets with the Leader
This evening, Ayatollah Khamenei, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, had a brief meeting with Mr. Muhammad Abdussalam, the spokesperson of Ansar Allah of Yemen. This evening, Ayatollah Imam Khamenei, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, met with Hujjat al-Islam wa al-Muslimin Na'im Qassem, the Deputy Secretary-General of Hezbollah, Lebanon. He described Hezbollah's policy from the beginning of the Al-Aqsa Storm operation as entirely prudent and wise and aligned with its interests. This evening, Ayatollah Khamenei, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, met with Mr Muhammad Shiya al-Sudani, the Prime Minister of Iraq, and his delegation. This morning (Tuesday), Ayatollah Khamenei, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, met with Mr Ismail Haniyeh, the Head of the Political Bureau of Hamas, and Ziad al-Nakhalah, the Secretary-General of Palestinian Islamic Jihad. He praised the remarkable resilience and resistance of the oppressed people of Gaza and said, "Today, the highest flag of Islam is in the hands of the Palestinian nation and the people of Gaza.
