"The Islamic System even at time when it was enduring an imposed military aggression by Saddam and his supporters, never considered to invade or occupy any other country," Ayatollah Khamenei said, adding that the growing enhancement of the IRI Armed Forc es does not mean the country seeks to monger wars.

"The aggressive policies of the world domineering powers must ring alarm bells for all nations that they must boost their internal structure and acquire necessary preparations," Ayatollah Khamenei alerted.

The Commander-in-Chief described the fiery tirades and threat-game of the arrogance as sheer psy op, adding that the enemies would not dare attack the great Iranian nation.

"Every one has realized that the enemies of the Iranian nation could not dare attack the great Iranian nation because they know they would enter a field which is impossible to leave," Ayatollah Khamenei said, adding however that the Armed Forces must grow more and more powerful irrespective of their inability.

Ayatollah Khamenei then made mention of the invasion of Iraq and Afghanistan by the US aggressors, saying that the occupiers arrived in Iraq carrying message of security and freedom, but the Iraqi people have endured an otherwise situation in the past five years.

Ayatollah Khamenei said the US President George Bush's spell in office had been the most insecure part of the contemporary history.

"Bush would leave office in a few months and would transfer the outcomes of his moves to his successor. However, a dark blot is left by him in the history and his dark dossier would remain open for provoking insecurity in the world and inciting terrorism, occupation and criminal conduct," Ayatollah Khamenei said.

Meanwhile, at the end of the ceremony, the elite platoons marched past the stand of the Commander-in-Chief.
