Ayatollah Imam Khamenei issued a message following the martyrdom of several pilgrims in a terrorist incident on their way to Golzar Shahada in Kerman to visit the shrine of Martyr Soleimani.

The text of the message of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution is as follows:

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Once again, the malevolent and criminal adversaries of the Iranian nation have inflicted a tragedy, claiming the lives of a significant number of beloved individuals in Kerman amidst the sacred ambience of the martyrs' resting places.

The nation of Iran is plunged into grief, and many families have been immersed in sadness as they mourn the death of their beloved relatives and loved ones.

These hard-hearted criminals could not tolerate the love and enthusiasm the people had to visit the shrine of their great commander, Qassem Soleimani. Let them know that the soldiers of Roshan Soleimani will not tolerate their vileness and crimes. Both of their hands are stained with the blood of innocents. The corrupt and mischievous minds that led them to this error will be the definite targets of suppression and a just punishment from now on. Let them know this disaster will have a harsh response, God willing.

I sympathise with the bereaved families and pray for their patience and consolation from God Almighty. God willing, the pure souls of these martyrs are the guests of the Lady of the Two Worlds and the Mother of the Martyrs, Her Eminence Siddiqa Tahirah. May peace be upon her. I sympathise with those who have become injured in this incident and ask God to give them healing.
