In a message, Ayatollah Khamenei congratulated and condoled the martyrdom of Mr Hassan Irloo, the hardworking and efficient ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Yemen.
The text of the message of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution is as follows:
In the name of god the most gracious the most merciful
I congratulate and condole the martyrdom of the hardworking and efficient ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Yemen, Mr Hassan Irloo, to his respectful family, friends, and companions in the various long stages of his long-running efforts. His honourable record is a collection of political struggles, diplomatic efforts, and social movements. His two brothers had been martyred before him. May God have mercy on this hardworking brother and his patient, insightful and devoted family.
