Ayatollah Khamenei the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, met this Wednesday with a number of poets and panegyrists of the Holy Prophet's (s.w.a.) household. Speaking at the meeting, which was held on the occasion of Fatima Zahra's (s.a.) birthday anniversary, His Eminence congratulated the people of Iran on the birthday anniversary of Fatima Zahra (a.s.) and the coincidence of this day with the birthday anniversary of Imam Khomeini (r.a.).

Supreme Leader Meets with Pilgrims at Imam Ridha’s (a.s.) Shrine
In a meeting with thousands of pilgrims at Imam Ridha's (a.s.) shrine in the holy city of Mashhad, Ayatollah Khamenei the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution said that it is necessary to evaluate the weaknesses and strengths that existed in the year 1391 and to make plans on the basis of this large-scale evaluation. He added: "Just as people need constant evaluation in the case of personal matters, so national evaluation is also important when it comes to national issues of the country. This is because such evaluation can teach us lessons and help us make better decisions in the future."

Supreme Leader Meets with Veteran Athletes, Coaches and Medalists
Ayatollah Khamenei the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution met Monday morning with a group of veteran athletes, champions and medalists in international competitions and the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic competitions. Speaking at the meeting, His Eminence described the champions of the country as the ambassadors who represent the Iranian nation's identity, dignity, firm determination, intelligence, faith and commitment to sharia. He reiterated: "Champions are like a mountain peak. They prepare the ground for the movement of all people, particularly young talents, toward peaks."

Ayatollah Khamenei the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution met Wednesday afternoon with the President of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari. Speaking at the meeting, His Eminence described the officials' attention to the issue of religion, religious principles, the Islamic Revolution and revolutionary values as a positive move, further adding: "You should adopt a long-term outlook on Islamic art and religious cinema. Ayatollah Khamenei the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution met Saturday morning with thousands of people from Tabriz. Speaking at the meeting, which was held on the anniversary of the uprising by the people of Tabriz on the 29th of Bahman of 1356, His Eminence analyzed the unreasonable behavior of American politicians and the reasonable behavior of the Iranian nation and the Islamic Republic towards the issue of negotiations. He expressed his gratitude for the glorious and great presence of the Iranian nation in the rallies on the 22nd of Bahman and he referred to the recent event which took place in the Majlis.
Supreme Leader Meets with Air Force Commanders and Personnel
Ayatollah Khamenei the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution met Thursday morning with commanders and personnel of the Air Force of the Islamic Republic of Iran Army. Speaking at the meeting, which was held on the occasion of the historic pledge of allegiance of air force officers to Imam Khomeini (r.a.) on the 19th of Bahman of 1357, His Eminence said that the continuation of American pressures and threats over the past 34 years simultaneous with offers of negotiations shows their lack of good will.

Ayatollah Khamenei the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution met Tuesday morning with a group of government officials, foreign participants of the 26th Conference on Islamic Unity, ambassadors of Islamic countries and people from different social backgrounds. Speaking at the meeting, which was held on the auspicious occasion of the birthday anniversaries of the Holy Prophet (s.w.a.) and Imam Sadiq (a.s.), His Eminence described Islamic unity as a sacred slogan.
