Ayatollah Khamenei the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution met this morning with officials in charge of this year's hajj affairs. Speaking at the meeting, His Eminence referred to the Syrian unrest and stated that the Islamic Republic's position on the Syrian issue is completely clear. He added: "The truth of the Syrian issue is that the camp of the arrogant powers is trying to destroy the link that connects the chain of resistance in the region and is located next to the borders of the usurping Zionist regime."
Supreme Leader Meets with Students
Ayatollah Khamenei the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution met today with Iranian students. Speaking at the meeting, which was held on the occasion of Student Day, Ayatollah Khamenei said that the Iranian nation has been successful in its confrontation with the arrogant powers of the world, further adding: "There is nobody in the world who doubts the fact that over the past thirty years, America has declined more than thirty levels in terms of power and global credibility. Everybody knows this. Even the Americans themselves admit this."

Speaking during the ceremony, His Eminence referred to the recent American-made film which insults the Holy Prophet of Islam (s.w.a.) and stressed: "We do not insist on proving that certain people or government officials were involved in this crime, but the behavior and methods of the leaders of the arrogant powers, American politicians and certain European countries have caused peoples of the world to point the finger of blame at them. They should prove that they were not an accomplice in this great crime and they cannot do so by simply denying their involvement. They should prove their innocence with actions. They should prevent such transgressions."

Speaking at the meeting, Ayatollah Khamenei referred to Tehran's hosting of the 16th Summit of the Non-Aligned Movement and said that it showed the Islamic Republic's power and glory. He stressed: "With their stupidity, the enemies of the Iranian nation turned this summit into a diplomatic war against the Islamic Republic of Iran, which resulted in a humiliating defeat for them."
