The Office of the Supreme Leader

The Supreme Commander-in-Chief's Message Marking Police Week:

“FARAJA” IS A FIRM PILLAR OF THE COUNTRY’S SECURITY

Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Hosseini Khamenei, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, issued a message marking Law Enforcement Week. He expressed his appreciation for the struggle and valour of FARAJA's (Persian acronym for Law Enforcement Command) brave and intelligent commander, its valiant forces, and their families.

He described FARAJA as a solid pillar of the country’s security and stressed the need to strengthen the security forces comprehensively across multiple areas. He emphasised that upgrading technology, particularly through the targeted use of artificial intelligence, plays a vital role in improving the quality of their missions and facilitating their operations.

The full text of the message of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution is as follows:

In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful

Security is among the greatest of divine blessings. Its establishment across the various parts of beloved Iran, from the major cities to the smallest communities in villages and neighbourhoods, from the arduous border patrols in harsh weather to the diverse climates of the mountains and the seas, from the plains and forests to the most central parts of the country, is due to the valour and courage of the devoted and hardworking FARAJA forces, a firm pillar of the country's security.

This security underpins the social and moral dimensions of public well-being. Such a valuable service, in addition to being jihad in the way of God, enjoys strong social backing. FARAJA’s prominent role in providing security at various levels, from command and staff echelons to police stations and outposts, has grown in recent years, and the signs of this impact became more evident during the second and third imposed wars.

The determination and persistent efforts of the criminal American-Zionist enemy to strike at FARAJA’s ranks, from its highest command levels down to its frontline personnel, further underscored the importance of this institution more than ever.

However, these desperate attempts and malicious attacks against the pillars of social order and security, without parallel in history, did not cause FARAJA's courageous personnel to neglect their duties in the slightest. Even on the streets and in their vehicles, they continued to perform the same roles and responsibilities as before within their precincts and headquarters.

For this reason, the oppressed yet powerful Iranian nation appreciates the tireless efforts and dedication of those who serve to safeguard the country’s security. In turn, FARAJA’s personnel, like the Army and the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, come from the heart of society and, through their confidence-inspiring behaviour, can strengthen people’s trust in this valuable institution.

Many people may take for granted the hard work and sacrifices of those who maintain security. Yet it is precisely this lack of recognition and their anonymity that increase their reward in the sight of God.

Strengthening the forces responsible for maintaining security comprehensively requires improvements in human resources, hardware, and software, particularly through technological upgrades. The purposeful use of artificial intelligence in data analysis is especially important for improving the quality of FARAJA’s missions and facilitating their implementation.

Praying for the elevation in rank and divine pleasure of FARAJA’s noble martyrs, and expressing my gratitude to all the families, staff, soldiers and brave and valiant personnel, particularly FARAJA’s courageous, tireless and intelligent commander, whose struggles I honour, I hope that, through the prayers of our Master (ajfs), they will achieve ever greater success in enhancing the security, power and dignity of Islamic Iran.
