The Leader calls for high turnout in Iran's elections

Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollay Seyyed Ali Khamenei cast his vote in the 12th presidential and the 5th city and village councils elections. 
Referring to the blessing of democracy and the people’s participation in the elections, the leader said: 'People should participate in the voting at the earliest possible time and in high turnout as the good deeds should be done as soon as possible and should not be put off.' 
Ayatollah Khamenei also touched on the importance of the presidential election, pointing out: 'The destiny of the country is determined by the masses because they choose the chief executive of the country. The city and village councils election is also of importance as the urban and rural services that are the daily affairs of the people are in the hands of those elected in the poll.' 
The Leader also expressed his gratitude to the reporters who are busy with their job in the voting process and recommended the masses to participate in the election with due care, recognition and consideration.
