The Leader of the Islamic Revolution planted three saplings on Arbor Day

Iranians can plant one billion saplings in four years

This morning, Ayatollah Khamenei, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, planted three saplings in celebration of Arbor Day.

After planting the saplings, the Leader of the revolution mentioned the slogan of this year's Arbor Day entitled "Every Iranian, three saplings" and said: If, based on the chosen slogan, every Iranian plants three saplings, the government's plan to plant one billion saplings will be realized within four years starting from 1402.

Ayatollah Khamenei pointed out the importance of planting saplings in preserving the environment and emphasizing that with the help of the people, it is possible to plant one billion saplings; he added: Specialists and experts advise that, In addition to planting fruit trees and forest trees, trees whose wood is important should also be planted due to the significant impact the wood trade has on the country's economy.

He pointed out that the result of a mono-cultural economy is the country's current state, which has manifested itself in issues such as a depreciated national currency value and high inflation.

Referring to the efforts of the authorities to solve the problems, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution said: The authorities should employ all available economic strategies in order to find the most suitable solution to address the issues of the people.

Ayatollah Khamenei considered the clear reference to the protection of the environment as one of the outstanding privileges of the country's constitution and emphasized: No one should violate this law.

At the end of his speech, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution also mentioned the issue of the "intoxication of students" and emphasized that the relevant officials, intelligence and law enforcement agencies should take this matter seriously, and said: This issue is a significant and unforgivable crime, and those who are involved in this incident must be met with severe punishment.

Ayatollah Khamenei considered this issue as a crime against the most innocent members of society, namely children, as well as a cause of psychological insecurity in society and worry for families, and noted: Everyone should know that if anyone is identified and convicted as the perpetrators of this crime, there will be no amnesty for them because they must be severely punished to serve as a lesson to others.
